Self-custody means responsibility moves to you. Here's exactly what that does — and doesn't — mean with Wisp.
Your wallet isn't on the phone — it's behind your recovery words and optional sealed backup. Install Wisp on a new device, restore with your words or passphrase, and you're back. We can't help you recover (we never had your keys), which is exactly why no one else can take them either.
Balances are read directly from public chains by your device. We don't run accounts, so there's no profile linking your activity to a name or email. Optional analytics are off by default and never tied to addresses.
A small, always-shown fee on in-app swaps and an optional pro tier. We never sell data, never take a cut of your holdings, and never gate your own funds behind a paywall. The fee is printed on the quote before you confirm.
The signing core, key derivation, and backup encryption are public and reproducible. We commission independent audits twice a year and publish every report — including the findings we had to fix.
