Every foot of it,
drawn to scale.

One ridge, two bowls, and a gondola that runs the whole 3,400 in eleven minutes. The red lines below are the real lift alignments — watch them climb the hill.

03 A DAY UP HERE

The clock,
kept honest.

Six times worth knowing. Everything else up here is negotiable — where you eat lunch is not, because there is exactly one hut and it has thirteen tables.

07:15

Dawn ticket loads

Cirque Flyer spins for Dawn ticket holders. The cats finished Powderhouse forty minutes ago; nobody has skied it yet. That's the whole product.

08:30

Public first chair

The maze is a five-minute walk from Lot A, even on a Saturday. We counted.

09:40

Corduroy's gone out front

Lap Ptarmigan, or follow patrol's rope line into the Krummholz Glades where the new 14 inches is still standing up.

12:10

Green chile at the hut

Krummholz Hut, 11,020 feet. A bowl is $9, a window seat is free, and there are no reservations because there is no phone.

15:45

Last chair

The light goes long and orange across the Nunatak. Take Old Company down if your legs are done arguing.

16:10

Patrol sweep

The mountain goes back to being a mountain. It was one the whole time; we just borrowed it.
