Coastal fruit, patient wine.

Thirty-four acres of sandstone, fog, and own-rooted vines above the Estero Americano. Four wines a year. Nothing added but time.

How we farm

The ocean is four miles west, and it runs this place. Fog in by night, burned off by noon, a wind that thickens skins and slows sugar.

We dry-farm because the vines dig deeper when nobody helps them — and the wine tastes like the digging. Every block is picked on its own morning, fermented on its own yeast, and bottled when it stops arguing.

The vintage chart

One hill. Four wines. Drawn to scale.

Every Saltfields cuvée comes off a single face of this hill. Choose a wine and its block lights up where it actually grows — elevation, fog line, and all.

The Salt Ledger

Wine made slowly is sold slowly.

We sell twice a year, by letter, in the order the ledger was signed — March for the spring release, September for the reds and the library. No membership, no fees, no wine you didn't ask for.
